The coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) has shocked the world with the agility and speed of its spread.
Since it emerged in humans in China late last year, it has raced around the globe, killing more than four thousand people, sickening more than 113,000, and prompting travel bans and lockdowns. International gatherings and sports events have been cancelled, more than 290 million children are not in school, and markets are reeling. In some countries, tourism, a vital occupation for many, has virtually stopped and we are seeing famous cultural landmarks as never before—almost empty.
It’s estimated that the epidemic could cost the world economy US$2 trillion.
World Health Organization (WHO) Director-General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus says the threat of a pandemic has become “very real” and he’s called for “decisive early action”

This is not the first time this is happening in human history. I will be talking along scriptural lines. Sickness and diseases are not associated with obedient children of God. The presence of infectious disease in Bible history always was the outcome of disobedience especially when it has to do with the Israelites who symbolized God’s children.
The scriptural verses below further expanciates on the fact that Obedient God’s children have and always will be kept in health despite the health challenges befallen the Egyptians who symbolized the world as used in scriptures.
Exodus 15:26
And said, If thou wilt diligently hearken to the voice of the LORD thy God, and wilt do that which is right in his sight, and wilt give ear to his commandments, and keep all his statutes, I will put none of these diseases upon thee, which I have brought upon the Egyptians: for I am the LORD that healeth thee.
Deuteronomy 7:15
And the LORD will take away from thee all sickness, and will put none of the evil diseases of Egypt, which thou knowest, upon thee; but will lay them upon all them that hate thee.
The narrative is altered in the new testament with the coming of Christ the Messiah. According to 1 Peter 2:24: Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed.
Jesus took upon him the sins of the world which included sickness and diseases the outcomes of sin so that those who believe in him and are dead to sin but alive to righteousness live in divine health.
As a child of God, you are not subjected to the elements of sicknesses and diseases. Never succumb to the COVID-19 virus – a global threat, it’s not for you. For those who are sick, by the strips of Jesus you are healed. As a child of God don’t give in to fear, instead, let your faith be built even more stronger on God’s word concerning your divine health. As a child of God in faith, sickness and diseases [COVID-19] are not your portion. Your portion is divine health. Profess God’s health over your life and reject the fear of COVID-19.
JESUS is the most powerful name in the universe. In the name of JESUS, COVID-19 must bow now!!!
MEDITATE ON THIS SCRIPTURE
Psalms 91:1
He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.
91:2 I will say of the LORD, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust.
91:3 Surely he shall deliver thee from the snare of the fowler, and from the noisome pestilence.
91:4 He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust: his truth shall be thy shield and buckler.
91:5 Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by night; nor for the arrow that flieth by day;
91:6 Nor for the pestilence that walketh in darkness; nor for the destruction that wasteth at noonday.
91:7 A thousand shall fall at thy side, and ten thousand at thy right hand; but it shall not come nigh thee.

91:13 Thou shalt tread upon the lion and adder: the young lion and the dragon shalt thou trample under feet.
91:14 Because he hath set his love upon me, therefore will I deliver him: I will set him on high, because he hath known my name.
91:15 He shall call upon me, and I will answer him: I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him, and honour him.
91:16 With long life will I satisfy him, and shew him my salvation.
